There is a new term for dumbness around the office. Doing a willy. Here’s one of Willy’s willies:

Willy asked the person he was talking to on the phone to spell his name so he could look him up in our database. Apparently the name was Carl, with a C (as in Charlie). Willy couldn’t find a Karl, with a K. Then Carl must have tried to clarify things… and you could hear Willy say: We don’t have a “Charlie” in our records. Doh.

Wedding frenzy.

Around the world many couples exchanged their vows on saturday. Many, maybe all, looking for that easy to remember wedding date 07/07/07. My wife and I attended seperate weddings and spent all day yesterday sobering up. Today I was an hour late for work. Oops.

Nelson got fired. For not showing up for work.

We’re still hiring. Still no lack of applications in general.

Willy is about to get fired. For showing up late for work too often. He’ll get the news shortly.

Judy and Miles are going on vacation. Together. And they are taking Judy’s daughter. Miles intends to spend time with the kid in the daytime. And since the kid can’t be left alone at night (google Madeleine) he is taking his laptop computer… What will Judy do? Surely it is his first vacation with kids; but hasn’t he ever travelled with a partner? Whether or not, no wonder he left his wife.

Jeff’s wife is pregnant.
