VAT up in Germany.

VAT was raised from 16% to 19% in Germany effective Jan 1, i.e. 3 weeks ago. And I am pretty confident merchants knew beforehand. So I was quite baffled when a German client rang me and explained the urgency of having his invoicing system updated. – I’m not saying that the update took me very long. Really, just a minute of “work” on the settings file. I had the possibility of VAT changes built in. And properly documented. In the user documentation. I will still bill a couple of hours.
